Since clay production process is simpler and requires less energy or water consumption, this makes it more cost effective and biodegradable.
Activated clay desiccant has a moisture absorption capacity up to 40% of its weight. This capacity is substantial at low humidity levels and rises with increasing relative humidity, making the clay gel easier to manage.
The global availability of clay assures an uninterrupted supply in clay desiccant gel packs. All things considered, they are very sustainable, which is recommended using by many European countries.
