Exactly as its name implies, seagrass is a type of grass that grows in the sea or in areas that have saltwater. Seagrass grows abundantly in Vietnam as our country has access to a lot of tropical oceans. It is farmed to be cut and processed specifically for weaving. One of its purpose is to create exquisite, elegant woven home accessories such as baskets, lampshades, furniture, and area rugs.
To have a product qualifying for export, the production process of seagrass products is thoroughly and exactly done from planting, collecting from the field, drying, dying in colors to the final stage is knitting, quality control and packaging products.
