THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Handcrafted from natural plant fiber, each and every piece of our basket or furniture is unique in their own way. However, they all share the same manufacturing process that we follow upon. A regular production progress of Orient Handicraft begins with materials and molds being gathered and readily stored in warehouse. Our local weavers can flexibly weave the plant fiber into the frame either at the factory or at home. The woven products are checked and cleaned to get rid of any debris. They are then dried in the sun and receive final touch-ups to complete.
After being carefully wrapped with our special packaging standards (depends on each item), they will go through our strict QC process. These final products will be checked for quality and compared with the counter sample. If the rate of fault is high, they will have to be opened and re-processed to meet the requirements for quality.
Our process will ensure to provide our customers and their buyers with high quality products, free from defects and meet their needs.
